Maintenance Supervisor

My client is a bakery in Langley, BC, and I'm are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to take over from their retiring maintenance expert, who has been with them for over 30 years.
If you're a millwright someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, gets along well with others, and is eager to learn, this could be the perfect role for you.

Advantages
What's in it for you :
Pay Range : $35.00 - $43.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Wage is negotiable.
Straight Days : Your choice of either Mon-Thu 6 : 30am-5pm OR Mon-Fri 6 : 30am-3pm
Benefits : Full dental and prescription coverage after the probation period, with a 50 / 50 cost split.
Steel Toe Boots : Provided annually.
Vacation : Start with two weeks of vacation.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
Full Maintenance Role : Oversee and perform all maintenance tasks across the bakery, including machinery repair, building maintenance, and general facility upkeep.
Technical Support : Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, including work on freezers, mixers, ovens, and conveyor belts.
Process Improvement : Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements in their processes, supporting their lean manufacturing goals.
Team Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with the team, including the leadership, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Safety Compliance : Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
Red seal preferred but no mandatory.
A love for fixing things
Technical and mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, millwright work, hydraulics, and general maintenance.
Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset but not mandatory.
A team player with a positive attitude who gets along well with others and is eager to learn.
Ability to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment without an ego.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle all maintenance needs of the facility.
