What You Will Be Doing :

• Operate an automatic 1-Man Side Load Truck for Recycling. One man show you would be working on your own
• Pick up and load residential blue box recycling and transport the materials to recycle facilities
• Perform daily pre and post trip inspections and report any defects
• Team player with safe working habits and a clean driving record
• Willing to work in various outdoor weather conditions (year round)
• Comfortable to perform physical work and repetitive / heavy lifting
• Able to work 10 to 12 hours daily
• Driving & Loading is Mandatory Operate an automatic recycling truck
• Safe collection of residential recycles blue boxes
• Daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Observe safe work practices
• Delivery of recycling to the recycle processing facility
• Effective communication with the Route Supervisor and customers; and,· Providing a professional collection service and promoting a positive company image.
• Adhere to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company, the MTO, Ministry of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working·
• Waste receptacles that are emptied into the collection vehicle must be placed back on the resident’s property, flipped upside down at the curb, in the same place that they were removed from

Requirements :

• DZ or AZ driver’s license (Newly Licensed Drivers Welcome)
• Clean CVOR and Abstract
• Good physical condition (able to lift from 25 lbs to 50 lbs repetitively)
• Safety Boots required

Position Details :

• Location Cambridge (on Eagle St N)
• Monday to Friday (work holidays)
• 6 : 30am start until daily route is complete
• Starting wage $27.81 / HOUR+ 4% vacation pay PLUS incentive
• Weekly pay (direct deposit in your bank every weekly)
• Overtime after 44
