Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our client’s Inventory and Fixed Asset Specialist in Brantford, ON, during a peak period of activity. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance, accounting, or asset management who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data and systems.

  • Pay rate : $27-$29 / hour depending on experience
  • Location : Brantford, ON
  • Shifts : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm (Hybrid)
  • Job type : Temporary | 3-Month Contract (with possible extension)

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the reconciliation and verification of inventory and fixed asset records.
  • Support data entry and validation in asset management systems and spreadsheets.
  • Help prepare documentation for asset acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and tagging of assets as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Inventory and Fixed Asset Specialist.

    • Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with asset management or ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
