Our fashion client is looking for a talented, energetic and motivated candidate to be part of their production Q.C. team!!
Responsibilities :
- Measure samples and compare against spec sheets
- Analyze samples for fabric quality and sewing workmanship, making sure they meet brand
standards
- Update tech packs, when needed, with spec or garment detail changes
- Communicate comments to factories with pictures and detailed sketches
- Provide technical recommendations to design team to help with consistency of fit and garment
construction
- Under designer supervision, review and approve production fabrics
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Import and Production teams on all technical and fit issues
- Work with production team to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sample approvals
Requirements :
- 5+ years experience
- Knowledge of English, written and spoken
- Comprehensive understanding of garment construction and size grading
- Proficiency with Excel and Illustrator
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to clearly write instructions on garment corrections
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
- Excellent sense of organization
