Process Development Engineer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support process optimization and new product development for next-generation MEMS devices. What You’ll Do

Act as the technical owner of manufacturing processes.

Develop and optimize unit processes for next-gen MEMS product development.

Build and maintain production database programs.

Integrate and troubleshoot processes as part of a cross-functional team.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve yield, and enhance process margins.

Apply best-known computer vision methods during early development phases.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and maintain accurate documentation.

Investigate and resolve non-conformance events.

Qualify new and existing equipment for optimal performance.

Facilitate smooth process transfers from development to manufacturing.

Collaborate with engineers, operators, and supervisors to resolve issues and implement new technologies.

Promote efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability across operations.

What We’re Looking For

Education : 2-Year Diploma (or higher) in Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Technical Skills :

Knowledge of computer vision operations (morphology, edge detection, filtering).

Experience with computer vision software (OpenCV or similar).

Understanding of optics and camera systems.

Ability to read equipment schematics and troubleshoot hardware.

Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, C#, and SQL (asset).

Experience with MVTec Halcon software (asset).

Additional Skills :

Basic statistical analysis and process control (JMP experience beneficial).

Knowledge of Design of Experiments.
