REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
My client is currently looking for a Regional Sales Representative for the Multi-gas Detection business, covering territory for Edmonton and Northern Alberta .
You will play a critical role in prospecting and generating new business for the supply, install and maintenance of fix gas detection.
Responsibilities :
- Seeking out new potential customers based on established business strategies.
- Responding to existing customer product inquiries and development of new business opportunities.
- Expansion and daily maintenance of client database, lead follow-up, and opportunity management within CRM program, as per assigned territory.
- Approximately 25% overnight travel as needed within the territory.
- Assist in resolving customer conflicts as required.
- Conduct product training, information seminars and client demonstrations as needed.
- Provide price quotations working in conjunction with the Inside Sales team.
- Participation in trade show activities and corporate events.
- Providing input to Marketing on industry trends and identifying opportunities for company growth.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and any additional company software.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers.
- Must be able to deal effectively and courteously with both internal team members and external customers.
- Attend training seminars and vendor’s product information sessions to continually maintain a high degree of technical proficiency.
Qualifications :
- Product sales experience required.
- Technical background is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience related to gas monitors and industrial hygiene equipment is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Customer service focused and driven.
- Outgoing personality with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to act in responsive and sensitive manner to all customer inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is highly desired, but not required.
