Junior LAA/Admin Clerk Commercial Litigation
On behalf of our legal client, TEEMA is seeking a JR. LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK COMMERCIAL LITIGATION LAW
to join their Commercial Litigation group.
This position is Onsite only*

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Organization of documents in binders
- Prepare open matter reports and request / gather all necessary client documentation
- Prepare closed file reports, strip files, organize file materials
- Assist with organizing meetings and scheduling appointments
- Print / copy / scan / save documents in document management system
- Assist with accounting, billing, and payment tasks
- Prepare outgoing correspondence and gathering necessary enclosures, etc.
- Provide desk coverage for Legal Administrative Assistants, overflow assistance, and other general administrative duties as required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience working in a clerical or administrative capacity in corporate environment
- Completion, or in the process of, of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
- A strong orientation to delivering a superior standard of service
- Good technical skills including Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent proof reading, writing, spelling and grammar skills
- Organized with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants
- Solid work ethic and team player
- Proven ability to take initiative as well as follow instructions and adhere to strict deadlines
- A polished and professional image and demeanor
WHAT WE OFFER
Our client is offering a generous competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this role is $53,000 - $57,000 annually, +RRSP, 3 weeks holiday, 100% company paid benefits and more!
