Responsibilities :
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to deal closure, with support from an Executive Account Management team.
- Understand client needs and present tailored solutions, showcasing the value of insurance products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless implementation and delivery of solutions to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and expand knowledge of offerings to stay ahead of the competition.
- Maintain organized records and track progress towards business goals and quotas using Salesforce.
- Utilize Excel, Salesforce, and Salesloft to streamline sales activities and optimize performance.
- Strategically plan with the manager to refine territory approach and improve sales results.
- Generate new business opportunities while also managing leads received from various sources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client requirements for financial planning and retirement / investment plans.
- Mandatory : Licensed insurance advisor LLQP (Life, Accident and Sickness License) with E&O Coverage in force and in good standing.
- Nice to have : Additional licenses in other provinces or willingness to obtain them in the future.
- Nice to have : Experience with segregated funds, CFP, CP, CEBS designations, or equivalent.
- Proven success as an Account Executive or in comparable sales roles within the insurance industry, specifically in group benefits.
- Experience in business-to-business sales with a multi-stage sales process.
- Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, or similar CRM and sales automation tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
