As a Collections Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth collection of accounts receivable. Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Finance, you will collaborate closely with the Finance and Accounting department to manage overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Your efforts will contribute directly to the success and efficiency of our operations.Key Responsibilities : - Develop and implement strategies to effectively collect outstanding accounts.
- Conduct regular follow-up calls with clients to resolve delinquent accounts and establish payment plans.- Maintain detailed reports on overdue accounts, payment agreements, and outstanding balances.
- Provide clear explanations of payment options and answer any client questions regarding their accounts.- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related issues and perform additional tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For : - 2-3 years of experience in collections or a related field, preferably within professional services.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.- Strong customer relationship management skills.- Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
