Trillium Health Partners (THP) is the largest community based academic health network in Ontario serving over one million residents in the communities of Mississauga, Peel Region and West Toronto.

The hospital encompasses three main sites Credit Valley Hospital (CVH), Mississauga Hospital (MH), and Queensway Health Centre (QHC) offering a full range of acute care hospital services, as well as a variety of community-based specialized programs including the Peel Regional Cancer Centre.

The Division of Endocrinology at Trillium Health Partners is seeking two (2) full time clinical Endocrinologists, to join our team as of summer 2024.

The Division of Endocrinology is comprised of a dedicated group of Endocrinologists working at two sites (Credit Valley Hospital and Mississauga Hospital).

The Division provides a full spectrum of Endocrinology consultation and related services, with care for Diabetic patients making up the largest component.

  • Services provided by the Division of Endocrinology include providing MRP coverage for patients admitted to Endocrinology;
  • providing consultant coverage for the weekly gestational diabetes clinic in the Diabetes Care Centre; providing consultant coverage for high-risk pregnant patients with diabetes;

providing I-131 radiation treatments for patients with thyroid disease; and participating in unplanned care within the Medicine program, which may include Internal Medicine coverage in the Emergency Department (i.

e. on-call), most responsible physician (MRP) responsibilities for Endocrinology and / or general medicine in-patients, and provision of emergent / urgent Endocrinology consultations.

All Division members are expected to establish an office practice in the community to help meet the growing needs of the population.

The preferred candidate will also be expected to participate in teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical learners, and also have the opportunity to participate in clinical and applied research.

The successful candidate will promote and exemplify excellence in professional practice and conduct; be licensed or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario;

and certified in Endocrinology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or its equivalent. These positions represent an opportunity to join a group of dedicated healthcare professionals in a progressive organization.
