About Our Client :

Our client is seeking a professional Senior Property Accountant / Accounting Manager with 10+ years of Property Accounting.

This position is a full-time in-office position in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, and utility payment
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Preparation of annual budget and forecast
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns
  • Ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Property Accounting
  • Stable profile
  • Pursuing a CPA is an asset but not required
  • Strong Communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience using Yardi
  • Entrepreneurial attitude - self-starter attitude
  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment
