HIirng a Licensed Practical Nurse looking to join a dynamic and supportive team!
Position : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Pay rate : $38 - $40 / hr
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Location : 74301 (Will float to Vinita, Nowata, and Ochelata as needed)
Uniform : Navy Blue scrubs
Key Responsibilities :
Perform general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.
May perform specific nursing care related to the specialty of podiatry.
Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.
Document health history, chief complaints, vital signs, and health risk factors.
Assess disease conditions and provide care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal / state laws and regulations.
Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response.
Refer to / consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent / resolve problems or concerns.
Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms / automated systems and documentation practices.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
May act as a team lead for other nursing staff.
Perform other duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
Requirements :
Minimum 1 year of experience in Ambulatory, Acute Care, or Long-Term Care settings preferred
Experience with wound care preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Valid Oklahoma LPN or compact license required.
Experience with Cerner Charting system.
Flexibility to float to other clinics as needed.
