About the Opportunity
- Maintain standard costs (bill of materials and routings).
- Develop new item costings and work with various departments to understand the needs, impacts of various elements and provide guidance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor and analyze costs to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity within operations / supply chain.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track operational performance and provide regular reporting to management.
- Be trained and able to cover other tasks and roles in the department, as and when needed.
- Capital expenditure evaluation and reporting.
- Provide reports to various departments on a regular basis related to variances, labor hours, downtime, efficiency, labor costs, line time usage, volumes, material usage etc.
- Analyze costs, projections and participate in the budgeting process.
- Participate and perform duties that are required for inventory management, auditing and reporting.
- Validate data and ensure accuracy of data, data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with the financial policies and procedures, as well as working with departments to ensure regulatory requirements and internal control practices are being followed.
- Lead and / or support projects and tasks within and outside department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing / plant cost accounting experience, preferably in the Food / Beverage industry.
- Experience dealing with multiple currencies is a requirement of the position.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience working with an ERP System such as Oracle or SAP.
Salary Range
$85,000 - $105,000 / year
