Hours: 35 hours/week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: $79,590 to $99,488 per year

Paid Time Off: 3 weeks’ vacation, 12 health & 3 personal days, 5 spiritual/cultural days, professional development and your birthday off

Pension: HOOPP (defined benefit plan)

Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre (SOAHAC) is a diverse, dynamic, multiservice Indigenous health and wellness agency. We are currently seeking a Dental Clinic Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight across two community dental clinic locations. This role is ideal for an experienced dental operations professional who is passionate about improving access to oral health care and supporting strong, community-centred clinic environments.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality, Compliance and Strategic Operations, the Dental Clinic Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring efficient day-to-day clinic operations, supporting high-quality client care, and fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture for staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination across two dental clinic sites
• Support efficient clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and supply management
• Oversee billing, insurance verification, collections, and related administrative processes
• Monitor operational and financial performance and support improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, health, safety, and infection prevention standards
• Supervise, coach, and support administrative and clinical staff
• Respond to client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to operational planning

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in dental office management or supervision
• Strong understanding of dental clinic operations, workflows, and billing processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop teams
• Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., ABELDent)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in community health or non-profit settings is an asset
• Commitment to culturally safe, client-centred care
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• Current and satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check/CPIC
