What You Bring :
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Operate heavy equipment
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks; perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely according to relevant legislation
- Deliver material to destinations, unload materials and complete paperwork
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Apply ratchet straps and chains and binders to secure load to trailer
- Manage vehicle in safe operating condition required by the Department of Transportation (DOT)
- Manage Logs and records as per the Department of Transportation (DOT)
- Adhere to site road bans / curfews
- Report hazards to relevant authorities and Project Management
- Adhere to Phoenix Safety policies and procedures regarding operating equipment
- Inspect working environment prior to operating equipment
- Managing and performing general house keeping and daily cleanup of work area
- Lead by example by demonstrating the importance of fostering a safety culture

Requirements :
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Physically capable of performing all required tasks of a labourer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have your own transportation and be able to travel to client site.
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Standard First Aid Level C CPR / AED
- CSTS-2020
- WHMIS 2015
- H2S Alive Certification (Energy Safety Certification preferred)
