What are the Responsibilities?
- Supporting operators in running the facility safely and efficiently
- Shipping, receiving, and movement of equipment and materials around the site
- Mechanical disassembly of production / processing equipment
- General housekeeping, site cleaning & organization of equipment and consumables
- Ensuring the site, equipment and consumables are available / prepared for operational readiness on a 24 / 7 basis
- Emptying and cleaning conveyers, hoppers, and other equipment as required during outages
- Picking up garbage, cleaning up spills, emptying garbage cans into dumpsters, etc.
What are the Requirements?
- Must live in or close to Squamish, no LOA or accommodations will be provided
- Labour experience within an industrial setting
- Ability and desire to perform physical / manual labour on an ongoing bases
- Ability to comfortably lift 50 pounds
- Mobility and dexterity
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rotation involving both days and nights
- Availability for a year-long contract
- Must be safety conscious and willing / able to adhere to stringent HSE requirements and wear appropriate PPE
