General Labourer Demo Work Location : Corner Brook, NLStart : ASAPDuration : 9 weeksWe are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Labourer for demolition work in Corner Brook, NL.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 day of in-class abatement training and a strong work ethic. This role involves performing manual labor tasks, including the safe and efficient removal of structures, debris, and materials. Responsibilities :
- Perform demolition tasks as directed by the supervisor, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials following proper safety protocols.
- Clean and prepare job sites, including the removal of debris and hazardous materials.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of work sites.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to the required standards.
Qualifications :
- 1 day of in-class abatement training preferred. Training can be provided if needed.
- Previous experience in demolition or construction work is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
