Our Engineering Design Organization is looking for a Junior Civil Engineering Technologist . In this role, you’ll be part of the Civil team working on municipal infrastructure projects such as road reconstruction, trenchless rehabilitation of pipelines, stormwater, wastewater collection and water transmission distribution projects.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities :
- Responsible for preparing and drawing detailed design drawings
- Execute design calculations for sanitary sewers, storm sewers and watermain
- Assist with preparation of technical memorandum's, letters and reports
- Developing design / construction documents and specifications
- Attend and participate in client / team progress meetings including preparation of meeting records
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications :
- Experience with MS Office;
- Experience with Civil3D
- Microstation experience would be considered an asset;
- 1 or more years of experience in Consulting would be considered an asset;
- Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organization and time management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- OACETT membership / eligibility would be considered an asset.
