The Opportunity :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team!
This is an opportunity to lead, inspire, and transform how we approach HSEQ, focused on clients that have large portfolios of sites requiring site assessment, remediation and reclamation work across the country.
You will play a crucial role in our Remediation Program Management (RPM) team.
What You Can Expect to Do :
- HSEQ Management : Provide expert HSEQ advice and support to project teams, ensuring client contractual, regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Project Planning : Participate in project planning meetings to integrate HSEQ considerations into execution plans.
- Human Performance (HP) : Integrate HP principles into our safety programs.
- Lean & Six Sigma : Apply lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes.
- System Development : Support in the development and implementation of cutting-edge HSEQ management systems.
- Safety Culture : Promote a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement.
- Subcontractor Evaluation : Review and collaborate with subcontractors to ensure their HSEQ programs align with our standards.
- Incident Management : Lead thorough incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Client Interaction : Build and nurture strong relationships with clients.
- Training & Development : Champion HSEQ training programs.
- Site Audits : Conduct proactive site visits to ensure compliance.
- Performance Metrics : Develop, monitor, and report on HSEQ performance metrics.
- Visible Felt Leadership : Demonstrate visible felt leadership through active engagement with staff.
- Digital Tools : Drive the implementation of modern digital tools.
- Corporate Alignment : Interface with our corporate HSEQ team to ensure compliance.
- Gap Analysis : Conduct gap analyses between corporate HSEQ requirements and client needs.

- Leadership : Inspirational leader with a passion for HSEQ.
- Communication : Excellent communicator across multiple disciplines.
- Project Management : Adept at managing multiple HSEQ projects.
- Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of HSEQ management systems.
- Digital Savvy : Proficient in modern digital tools.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills.
- People Skills : Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility : Ability to travel to project sites across Canada.
Capabilities and Credentials :
- Industry Knowledge : Experienced HSE professional.
- Professional Designation : Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or equivalent.
- Legislation Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of HSE legislation.
- Client Focus : Proven experience in building client relationships.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
