First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a Shipper / Receiver at our Surrey BC.

The Shipper / Receiver will maintain a clean and well manicured warehouse and document inventory that both comes in and out of the branch.

Compensation Plan
- Competitive base wage $ hour.
- Shift premiums ( depends on shift) and overtime pay

Primary Job Functions
- Shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory of products incoming and outgoing from the warehouse.
- Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Attend all training sessions to update technical knowledge.
- Drive company vehicle to receive and deliver parts when required.
- Proven record of following safety procedures, provincial / federal legislation, and company policies.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in shipping / receiving.
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
- Excellent Computer skills to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work that may be required.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
