About the opportunity :
The focus of these positions is to provide lifeguarding functions, instruct swimming lessons, assist in the operation of an aquatic facility and respond to a variety of customer requests and concerns.
The hours are flexible and varied involving morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
About your background :
You have completed Grade 10 as well as current certificates and awards as follows :
- National Lifeguard Award ? Pool Option
- Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Instructor
- Standard First Aid / CPR-C / AED
The following awards will be considered an asset :
- Lifesaving Instructor Award
- Certified BCRPA Aquafit Instructor
Recruitment Timeline (Subject to change) :
Skills Testing : Thursday, November 28, 2024 (Canfor Leisure Pool, 4 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m.)
Interview dates to be determined
Orientation : Friday, January 3, 2025
On Site Orientation : Saturday, January 4, 2025 (10 : 00a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m.)
Dates are subject to change. Additional testing, interview and orientation sessions may be added.
