Description de posteReview the damage report and estimates of repair cost, and plan work to be performed. Repair and replace front-end components, body components, doors, frame, and underbody components. Hammer out dents, buckles, and other defects using blocks and hammers. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents,s and seams. Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches and a cutting torch, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place. Perform wheel alignment and adjustments. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. File, grind, and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools. Monitor parts usage and report on any materials issues. Accurate completion of work orders and timecards. Test repaired equipment for proper performance. Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation. Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Completion of a three- to four-year motor unit body repair apprenticeship program Must have a valid driver’s license. Physical ability to lift up to 50lb. Ability to work independently in a busy environment. Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Able to work well under pressure. Strong attention to detail. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is currently seeking a Licensed or Apprentice Body Shop Technician to join our team.
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of body repair processes and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing heavy-duty truck service operation and work with a collaborative, experienced team.
