Description :
As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I, you will perform procedures in both the laboratory and in diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites.
You will work as a member of the inter-professional team and be responsible for collecting and analyzing biological specimens, conducting X-ray examinations, ECGs and reporting results.
Your responsibilities include preparing patients, venipuncture and micropuncture, routine equipment maintenance, maintaining supplies and performing quality control procedures as required.

Required Qualifications :
Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications :
The successful applicant must have a strong sense of teamwork and possess excellent communication skills. Strong technical skills and adaptability are imperative in this position.
Preferred Qualifications :
Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems. Recent phlebotomy and bench experience are an asset.
