Inventory Control CoordinatorWe are currently looking for someone for our client located in Balzac, AB. Looking for someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated, as well as someone who has good work ethic and is reliable and dependable.What we offer :

What you do :

• Perform daily inventory tasks (cycle counts, location verification & troubleshooting).
• Daily communication & updates with leadership team & coordinators.
• Ensure inbounds and returns are processed in a timely manner.
• Daily count back review and performing investigation as necessary.
• Process customer and carrier OSD claims and maintain OSD weekly report.
• Process quality holds, expired product, incubation holds, stop ships and Mock recalls as requested and ensure communication with the team.
• Daily checking red flag report to maintain SSBD in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with the customer with food quality information, investigations in a timely manner.
• Assist in the scheduling of inbounds for shifts based on workload.
• Investigate warehouse inventory issues and variances (shorts & overages) by performing root cause analysis and completing applicable adjustments maintaining inventory accuracy of all finished goods within the operation.
• Handle product damages & monitor damage and donation areas.
• Maintain daily metrics, cycle count tracker, monthly client, and performance reports.
• Prepare and coordinate annual quality and inventory events (physical cycle counts, AIB, HACCP, BRCGS audit, etc.)
• Perform empty Chep pallet count audits.
• Coordinate food bank donations & product disposals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a food grade distribution center.
• Understanding of overall quality benchmarks and the process flow of goods.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external parties.
• Solid computer skills in all Microsoft applications.
• Demonstrated strong organizational ability & time management skills.
• Analytical skills and planning skills, high accuracy level and attention to detail.
• Strong ability to perform detailed analysis and investigations.
• Familiarization with a warehouse management system and RF familiarization in a distribution center setting.
• Commitment to inventory quality.
• Background in quality management programs such as HACCP, AIB and BRCGS is an asset.
• Strong understanding of safety in the workplace.
• Can do attitude.
