Qualifications :

University or college student currently enrolled in business or accounting program

Prior related co-op or working experience in Accounting would be an asset especially with a long-term care background

Intermediate to advance level skills in Microsoft Excel is required

Good communication

Self-starter with the ability to work effectively under multiple assignments in an organized manner

Ability to interface and work cooperatively across the organization

Other Requirements :

All summer student positions are funded to promote employment opportunities for students. The position and duration of it are based on funding approval.

To be eligible for the program, job applicants should meet the following criteria :

• 1. Is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
• 2. Is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act* and;

3. Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of the employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant or territorial legislation and regulations.
