Responsibilities

• Review shipping orders as distributed by shipping supervisor.
• Process orders accordingly (i.e. picking orders).
• Ensure that yard and warehouse are organized in a manner that maximizes efficiency, safety and customer order turnaround.
• Put away all finished product from production area (stock stored inside and outside) in the designated warehouse spaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
• Construct packaging (i.e. Skids / Gaylords).
• Inspect packaging.
• Repack damaged products.
• Pick orders with DSI guns.
• Unload & load flatbeds and dry vans.
• Apply labels as required (i.e. barcodes).
• Keep work area clean (i.e. yard, bundle area).
• Place scrap material in designated material bins (i.e. wood, strapping, cardboard).
• Participate in the PVC Recovery program, ensure recycling of broken pipe scrap pipe.
• Ability to work outside.
