What You’ll Do
As the successful candidate, you will collaborate closely with field teams, leaders, sales support, and channel marketing to dramatically drive robust sales performance, enhanced productivity, and exceptional quality through a comprehensive, customized training, hands‑on coaching, and impactful field excellence program.
Driving Sales Performance
- Develop essential tools and processes to empower field team managers in coaching and performance managing their teams.
- Guide and facilitate effective coaching practices among field teams and their managers.
- Create targeted training and learning strategies tailored to different performance segments and cohorts.
Analysis and Insights
Conduct detailed review of sales and order reporting, analyzing data by technician, team, and region to identify outliers and trends.Leverage insights from successful sales channels, teams, and broader industry best practices.Lead recurring feedback sessions with technician teams to understand on‑ground successes and challenges.Collaboration and Innovation
Share critical channel feedback with relevant stakeholders across Marketing, Product & Services, Operations, and Support teams.Shape the future tools, processes, and experience for our field teams by delivering targeted and prioritized insight.Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven training facilitation and coaching experience.Extensive sales experience with a history of significantly improving sales performance.Passionate, relentless focus on driving performance in others through effective motivation, training, and coaching.Strong analytical and strategic thinking to analyze data and inform training programs, influencing KPIs and results.Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, multi‑project management, working under pressure, and meeting strict deadlines.Highly self‑motivated, proactive, capable of independent problem‑solving with minimal supervision.Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.Great‑to‑haves
University degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline.3+ years of training and coaching experience.3+ years of consumer or retail sales experience.Familiarity or experience with TELUS consumer products and solutions.Seniority Level
