Instructional Hours Per Week : In-person delivery, approximately 18 hours / week
Course Codes :Duties :
- Responsible for all instruction and evaluation for the portion of the course to which they are assigned
- Will be available to meet with students outside of the official classroom time
- Complete mandatory training requirements, review and follow Nipissing University's policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :
- PhD in education or related field
- Master's degree
- Bachelor of education
- Relevant teaching experience as evidenced by a teaching philosophy, strong teaching evaluations, and / or other relevant achievements related to teaching
- Certification as a registered teacher with the appropriate licensing authority (e.g. Ontario College of Teachers)
- Indigenous knowledge is valued and considered an asset in this role. We welcome applicants and strongly encourage applications, which may include self-identification in a covering letter from Indigenous peoples, who can contribute diverse perspectives and insights.
