This position will be based in Québec, QC. In accordance with our flexible work policy (3 days on-site required, 2 days flexible).
Vantage is looking for an experience, team player, result oriented, and self-starting Senior project Manager (SPM) to drive core project coordination efforts across a wide spectrum of ongoing construction projects.
The Senior Project Manager primary responsibilities include meeting with internal and external stakeholders to review plans, coordinating with different teams and departments regarding timelines, budget, EHS, and scope of work.
The SPM must understand project inputs / output and plan to meet the projects milestones. Ensuring proper risk management and employing an effective mitigation strategy, the SPM is a unifier who can rally the various stakeholders.
Reporting will provide Daily tasks include submittal approval management, RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, administration of project observation reports, participation in commissioning, and transition of close-out documentation to operations.
Regular collaboration and coordination are required with internal resources and design-build contractors.
Essential Job Functions
Firm knowledge of construction industry, contract Management Processes Design built and CM contract.
Manage Project budget and Schedule (400M$+)
Firm knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent organization and presentation skills

Ensure project compliance with Vantage and clients document controls and file specifications
Supervision (trainee)
Fill and follow action items list and drive each item to closure
Administer project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation
Duties
Prepare agenda and documents for weekly DEC meetings and drive action items to closure
Support superintendent and construction managers in implementation of project specifications
Translate job requirements to execution in the field
Prioritize input required from internal stakeholders and drive to meet scheduled timelines
Daily communications with General contractor
Daily site walks to assess progression and design compliance
Paid particular attention to health and safety on construction site and intervene when needed
Review monthly financial updates and forecasts
Facilitate page-turn reviews and capture comments with action items for internal team
Manage design team / contractors throughout each project
Work closely with Operations to coordinate work with MOP log and track required approvals
Awareness of the importance of mission-critical facility operation
Project Commissioning Support
Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience as a Sr Project Manager supervising construction projects of increasing complexity required
Data Center experience or Mission critical environment is an asset
Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management is a strong preference
Expected travel is less than 5%, but may grow and evolve over time as opportunities arise.
Bilingual (French and English).
