Position Summary :
Recruiters are responsible for screening resumes, interviewing applicants, and referring well-qualified candidates to clients sourced by Botsford’s staffing sales team.
The emphasis of their duties is to match specific candidates with specific positions. Since Botsford’s core business is consulting, staff augmentation and placements, recruitment is one of the most important components of Botsford’s business.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Drafts recruitment advertisements; post and / or place ads in the most effective digital and print media for open positions.
- Identify suitable candidates for open opportunities through various sourcing sites such as ; Develop relationships with professional organizations and other sources of applicant referrals
- Develop and maintain key relationships with candidates; Interview and counsel applicants for most appropriate placement options to match skills, briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews, screen resumes; revise as necessary
- Develop a pool of well-qualified candidates; manage and evaluate the quality of the applicant pool. Profile candidates against specific client needs
- Meet frequently with Botsford sales team to understand specific requirements of positions; work closely with sales team to assess skill gaps in candidate pools and assist in the design of programs to close such gaps
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements :
- 2 5 years of Financial Service or Technical Recruitment (Engineering, Technology, Scientific, etc.)experience is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and experience. Demonstrated ability in developing initial contacts by phone
- Recruitment resources experience : Demonstrated recruitment experience in handling challenging recruitment issues in a diverse and dynamic environment.
- Team / Collaboration : Recruiters must possess demonstrated skills and abilities in collaborative efforts. Strong relationship skills
- Flexibility : Must have demonstrated the ability to adapt to a variety of staffing issues with successful outcomes and demonstrate an openness to new ideas and approaches
- Judgment : Must have demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results
- Expected to develop relationships with a variety of sources for applicant referrals
- Proficient with Google Suite and related software
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
This is a fully remote job. Some travel will be required : Toronto, NY, London and Dublin are the locations we do business and travel will be required to
