Responsibilities
- Actively participate in various Human Resources projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the successful planning and execution of HR initiatives, including projects related to employee engagement, HR technology, benefits, employee leaves, health and safety, and more.
- Schedule meetings, prepare reports / presentations, and handle general HR correspondence.
- Prepare materials, presentations, or reports for meetings.
- Adhere to AMA and Human Resources policy and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and timely production of daily work processes.
- Complete correspondence, photocopying, filing.
- Administer and maintain accurate employee records related to benefits, leaves, and health & safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, occupational health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes with a focus on benefits and leave entitlements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, leaves, and workplace safety programs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on benefits utilization, leave trends, and health & safety incidents.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor compliance, identify risks, and track key metrics.
- Provide actionable insights to HR leadership for improving benefits programs and reducing leave-related costs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design data-driven strategies for employee wellbeing and risk mitigation.
- Support HR technology projects, including system enhancements for benefits and safety tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience with exposure to benefits and health & safety programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (Power BI) and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and compliance reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with occupational health & safety regulations and leave management practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Workday is considered an asset.
