Chinook School Division is seeking an Educational Assist ant to support s tudents in the Functional Integrated / Alternate Education program at Swift C urrent Comp r ehensi ve H i gh School .
This p osition wil l be subject to a dditional contracted hours due to the natur e of the positions and based on ind iv idual needs of students.
Training will be provided for any specific duti es that are required.
Start Date : ASAP
Q ualifi cations :
Educational Assistant certification or early childhood training an asset
Ability and experience in working with children
Physical ability to work with active students
Lifting may be required
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
A positive and flexible attitude to change
Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
Work one on one with students and within a classroom setting
Based on needs of individual students, provide individual students with assistance in speech, motor, and language development and social and life skills
