The Role
The Marketing Department of the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration is seeking to hire a probationary regular faculty member to start in the Fall 2024 semester.
Responsibilities The successful candidates will instruct students, facilitate learning, and evaluate student progress in College courses.
The incumbent will plan, organize, and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners, maintain quality learner centered instruction, and will perform other related duties as required.
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need To possess a PhD, MBA, or relevant Master degree from a recognized institution.
- A minimum three years of marketing management experience.
- A minimum 3-5+ years Sales / Sales Management experience
- To demonstrate an excellent ability to teach a variety of marketing courses at the post-secondary
level with successful previous teaching experience.
In particular, to be qualified to teach :
- MARK 1120 Introductory Marketing
- MARK 2150 Personal Selling
- MARK 3235 Digital Marketing I- MARK 3300 International Marketing- MARK 3340 Promotional Strategy
AND at least 4 of :
- MARK 3215 Buyer Behaviour
- MARK 3280 Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility
- MARK 3490 Business Marketing
- MARK 4360 Customer Relationship Management- MARK 4420 Digital Analytics- MARK 4483 Marketing Practicum- MARK 4441 Marketing Research- MARK 4240 E-Commerce- MARK 4340 Digital Promotions and Social Media
- To work cooperatively with colleagues in a team environment.
- To demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- To possess working knowledge of computer applications and educational technologies.
