Description de posteDaily supervision of Security Personnel, oversee scheduling requirements, security assignments, incident reporting, inspections and patrols Oversee and assist in monitoring CCTV, sensitive areas and controlled access points Immediately respond and assist with security & life safety related requests made by customers, tenants and employees including delivery of first aid, CPR or other medically necessary procedures Respond immediately to emergencies and co‑ordinate activities in accordance with established and approved lawful policies and procedures Ensure that proper procedures are observed to reporting of liability claims and completion of occurrence reports Train and ensure staff are in compliance, understanding and sign off with all log books, posted memos, brief books, instructions and policies Oversee staff operation and compliance of department computer and technical equipment Supervise the use of memo books, uniforms and equipment. Monitor calls to dispatch and assist staff accordingly; Maintain communications with retail tenants, local law enforcement agencies local fire prevention personnel and local emergency medical services personnel Help implementation of emergency procedures, disaster recovery plans, building access control, security systems, reports and recommendations; Requirement to perform shift work, including holidays and weekends Other duties as assigned College diploma in Police Foundations, Law Enforcement and / or Security Administration Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retail environment Proven supervisory experience Clear Criminal Background check clearance Familiar with applicable health & safety legislation (eg. WHMIS, Occupational Health & Safety) Certified in CPR, First Aid, AED & Oxygen Administration Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a team Be self‑motivated, diplomatic and confident individual in order to deal with tenants and the public Communicate clearly, concisely, professionally and convey active listening and openness Build positive relationships and demonstrate commitment, effort and a \"take charge\" attitude Conflict resolution skills Produce accurate work with attention to detail and consistently meet deadlines Take ownership for actions, accept constructive criticism and make the necessary changes to behavior Overcome obstacles to get the job done, identify problems and recommend solutions See change positively and adapt quickly to change in work requirements Actively support training & development opportunities for employees as well as provide regular and meaningful feedback while delegating responsibility and being comfortable working through others Respect : Value diverse perspectives, experiences and talents; treat others the way you would want to be treated Empowerment : Use the means provided to carry out responsibilities to the best of your ability and to implement creative ideas Integrity : Do the right thing, deliver on commitments and admit mistakes Teamwork : Work together as one team toward common goals Accountability : Hold yourself and others accountable for decisions and results

Position Summary
Primaris REIT is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Security Supervisor to join our team at Marlborough Mall in Calgary, AB. If you have a background in Security Administration, supervisory experience and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, this exciting opportunity is perfect for you!
- Please note this is a uniformed position and requires shift work (i.e. Tuesday‑Saturday, evenings, and weekends).
Role
As the Security Supervisor your primary responsibility is delivering outstanding customer service to all employees, patrons and tenants of the property by keeping all areas safe and secure. This position is a first responder to all security and medical calls at the property and is also responsible for the activities of all Security Officers at the location.
