The proposed Senior Resource candidate(s) must have the following skills listed below to be considered :

1. Must have EnterpriseOne Legacy Tools work experience including Report Design Aid (RDA), Form Design Aid (FDA), Table Conversion Tool (TC), Event Code, BiPublisher.

2. Must have Object Management Workbench work experience.

3. Must have Web Object Management Workbench work experience.

4. Must have EnterpriseOne CNC skills including Object Configuration Mapping (OCM), Package Management, ESU Installation, Server Management Console.

5. Must have SQL Server Management Studio work experience.

6. Must have work experience with EnterpriseOne in a Windows Environment (Server and Workstation).

7. Must have a recognized bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.

Background

The SaskEnergy Digital, Technology and Security Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) team is seeking proposals for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Support and Developer Resource(s).

SaskEnergy’s environment consists of a comprehensive web environment utilizing the following technologies : HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, ASP, .

Net. Our web hosting environment is Internet Information Services (IIS). Our development environments include : .Net, Visual Basic 6, and PowerBuilder.

Other technologies used include COM and SQL Server 2008 2019 as well as Oracle 12c. Our server environment consists of Windows Server in a virtualized (VMWare) environment, AIX and Oracle Solaris.

SaskEnergy’s client operating system is Windows 10 Enterprise.

Some of SaskEnergy’s larger application imprints are : EnterpriseOne, ESRI, Content Server, Customer Care and Billing, CLICK, Quorum, Cherwell, and Jira.

SaskEnergy currently utilizes the following platforms : Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Microsoft Office, SharePoint 2013, EnterpriseOne, ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, BizTalk 2013 and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Utility Analytics.

Description of Requirements

The successful Senior Resource candidate will :

1. Work within the Digital, Technology and Security Application Management and Support (AMS) team.

2. Have the ability to work as part of a larger team as well as independently.

3. Have proven ability to switch focus quickly, learn new skills, and effectively prioritize work items, with minimal direction.

4. Have the ability to troubleshoot and work through complex technical issues.

5. Develop and maintain good documentation.

6. Have proven ability to transfer knowledge.

7. Participate in and perform code reviews.

8. Mentor junior and intermediate resources.

9. Identify and assist in the coordination of ongoing maintenance tasks, , application and database server upgrades.

10. Work as a project team member in the role of operational acceptance lead ensuring that projects delivered from our Project Delivery Office are transitioned to Operations effectively.

11. Work closely with business and other DT&S team members on a day-to-day basis to address production support issues as well as changes and enhancements to existing applications.

12. Follow SaskEnergy’s established change management processes.

The key skills and knowledge areas required for the resource are outlined in attached Appendix C Supplementary Specifications.

The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Support and Developer Resource must be able to perform in a team environment with strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.

North American job experience is considered an asset for this proposal. Proponents are encouraged to provide specific and qualitative verbiage of other areas where their expertise can add value to our teams and make our projects as successful as possible.

The preference for start date is as soon as possible. The initial term for this role will conclude on March 31, 2025 ; after which SaskEnergy will evaluate its ongoing requirements and potentially extend the term for this Resource in accordance with the terms and conditions of the proponent’s Technology Master Service Agreement (TMSA).

SaskEnergy is open for the resource(s) working fulltime on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, SK or fulltime remote work (across Canada only), Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm).

The proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs (PST and GST are extra) .

CONTRACT DURATION

The Contract will be effective for an initial term commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31, 2025. The Contract will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms, a maximum of four (4) times
