Automation Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Description :

This manager is looking for an automation developer with excellent Python skills who can help them with IT-related tasks with lab PCs and hardware setup.

Duties :

• Test lab infrastructure maintenance which includes software setup on host machines running Windows, Linux and peripherals
• HW setup, including wiring, and inventory
• Develop reliable testable scalable automation framework
• Use test management tools for test design, execution, and traceability
• Analyze logs and perform root cause analysis

Typical Day in the role :

• Analyze test runs failures, fix urgent issues
• Report status, make a plan for today, tomorrow and next week
• Work on fixes, improvements and new features by the urgency and priority

Submit your completed and partial progress for code review, get it merged

• Experience with setting up and maintaining automation platforms enabling continuous integrations, such as Jenkins
• Detail oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects
• Good Python and system programming skills
• Strong POSIX systems affinity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
• Experience with PCs / IT
• Embedded HW Setup
