In this role you will be working with a variety of materials (mild steel, tooling steels, cast iron, plastics, stainless steel), and situated in the heart of Cambridge.
Advantages
- either a straight afternoon shift (3 : 20 pm -1 : 30 am) or work a rotating shift of day shift and afternoon shift every two weeks

- $30-32 hourly, with a $2 shift premium on afternoon shift

- vacation is negotiable to 3 weeks for the right candidate

Qualifications
- must have your own reliable transportation
- ideally you are a licensed machinist, tool and die maker, or a registered apprentice, but we will consider experience as well
- able to work with a wide variety of materials
- ideally you have mastercam experience
- can demonstrate a strong work ethic
- able to provide two work related, supervisor references

Responsibilities
You can expect to :
- programming, set up and operation of CNC lathe
- machine within tolerances of + / - 0.005
- work voluntary overtime
- work with a tenured group of co-workers
- interact with clients on issues
- experience working with mastercam X18 would be ideal
- program at the machine
- interpret blueprints
