- one of Canada's premiere Construction Rental Companies presently requires a Diesel Mechanic for our Sudbury location.Key QualificationsAn experienced technician, with prior experience in performing failure analysis and repair on all types of construction equipment;
- Extensive background and knowledge of construction equipment, building products, and the necessary parts and services to maintain and repair both;
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs;Experience is required in the following areas : diesel / gas engines, hydraulics, electrical and scissor and boom lifts, as well as, compact equipment;
- Existing knowledge of the service / maintenance requirements for all types of construction equipment;Ability to work independently, skilled in time management and organization;
A customer-centric attitude, and positive attitude; good communication skills;Previous road service experience would be an asset.
Additional QualificationsApplicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;Your own tools are required.
