The Enterprise Core Services practice at KPMG is focused on supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, privately-held companies, and high net worth individuals and families.
Helping our clients to succeed is our bottom line. In addition to providing our clients with assurance, accounting, and tax services, we work with other members of our firm to offer a wide range of services.
What you will do
- Oversee and manage compilation and review engagements including tax compliance matters.
- Oversee and manage compilation and review engagements from planning to completion.
- Participate in the practice group to assist in implementing group business plan.
- Work with members of the practice management group to meet the goals of the assurance financial plan.
- Managed and implemented tax planning strategies for clients.
- Counsel, train, and mentor staff including prepare engagement performance evaluations and annual evaluations for staff.
- Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices / methodologies on client engagement.
What you bring to the role
- 5 + years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.
- Previous experience using ASPE, US GAAP or IFRS.
- Experience working with accounting (Quickbooks, Sage, etc.) and tax software.
- Experience working with caseware.
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- The ability to counsel, train, and mentor staff.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service.
- Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional accounting firm experience is a must.
