Test Engineer/ CPI (Conformity and Compliance Focus)
Position : Test Engineer (Conformity and Compliance Focus)Location : Saint-Laurent Salary : $100,000+ package (based on experience)Position Overview : A leading organization in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Test Engineer with a strong focus on conformity and compliance.
This role is ideal for individuals with recent testing experience who are eager to engage in product certification and compliance processes.

- A collaborative and supportive work environment.- Opportunities for professional development and growth.Key Responsibilities : - Conduct testing to ensure product compliance with relevant industry standards, including electromagnetic and safety standards.
- Perform internal calibration of ISO-accredited test equipment.- Generate and review test reports, ensuring they meet compliance requirements.
- Manage and oversee product testing at external laboratories.- Communicate technical progress and issues with internal teams and clients.
- Request quotes and manage relationships with external testing service providers.- Assist in the certification process and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Qualifications : - Recent experience in a testing role, preferably within a conformity lab environment (ISO 17025 certification preferred).
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations across various sectors.- Strong understanding of controlled lab environments and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams.- A desire to grow into a leadership role, with opportunities to manage the lab in the future.
