Zoom Moderator for Health Training
About the Program
Over the next year (2023 - 2024) we will be holding several Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and MH101 training sessions virtually.
To assist our facilitators, we are seeking ZOOM Moderators who have experience with ZOOM.
The moderators would be responsible for navigating the application, opening the waiting room, prepare breakout rooms, assign participants to rooms, create and monitor polls.
The moderator would work closely with the facilitator to prepare for the virtual session and then help moderate the sessions.
About the Role
To assist our facilitators, we are seeking ZOOM Moderators that have experience with ZOOM. The moderators would be responsible for :
- navigating the application,
- opening up the waiting room,
- prepare breakout rooms,
- assign participants to rooms,
- create and monitor polls
- monitoring chats, questions
- general tech support
The moderator would work closely with the facilitator to prepare for the virtual session beforehand and then help moderate the sessions.
- Each MHFA course is 8-hour long.
- Each MH101 session is 2 hours long.
- The sessions are usually offered on weekends.

- Experience with ZOOM application and is able to troubleshoot and support other participants if needed
- Nice to have : French language
