Our client is seeking Intermediate Data Analysts (5+ years) specialized in quality control and database maintenance to support a Asset Management data cleanup project
Overview
Responsible for analysis, preparation, and continued development of data controls across the business technology applications.
This role will be essential to review, assess, recommend, and update records to ensure data integrity, and allow for process management.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of Data Analysis and Quality Control
- Database maintenance , analytics , and auditing
- Data quality control / data integrity
- Familiarity data relating to with Asset Management / O&M / Operation and Maintenance

Responsibilities
- Interface with all user groups to develop a thorough understanding of individual system needs and current practices.
- Identify system opportunities and provide recommendations for the strategic use of business applications.
- Support efficient workforce utilization, lifecycle management, and auditability of O&M functions.
- Engaged in all asset management projects
- Work collaboratively with personnel across Business Units to ensure all requested changes comply with technology governance models established for ATCO.
- Support the implementation of recommendations brought forward by users to evaluate, assess and / or approve high-level changes regarding data.
- Recommend and complete database maintenance, analytics, and auditing, as required.
- Reconcile and review multiple sources of information to provide recommendations.
- Coordinate and manage mass data uploads, and edits, as required.
- Run reports and pull extracts from business applications as required to meet business needs.
- Perform quality control, job observation, and coaching to support data quality across applications.
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines; consult with the business to identify process and technology issues
- Provides project Business Leads within the organization with templates, tools, and resources (where required) to fulfill the requirements gathering, process mapping and gap analysis needs of the business.
- Performs the Business Lead role for asset management initiatives where it is deemed appropriate.
