We are currentlylooking for a Bilingual Disability Intake Manager for one of ourclients in the insuranceindustry.

Whatis in it foryou :

Salary from $50.000 to $57.000 per year 5% Bonus (based on personaland company objectives).

Fulltimeposition : 37.50 hours per week.

Responsibilities :

Proactively manage a dedicated caseload in compliance with specificservice level agreements and targeted turnaroundtimes.

Act on dailyadministrative tasks which include responding to emails andtelephone calls in a timelymanner.

Assess claims based oncontractual medical and vocationalbarriers.

Develop strongrelationships through frequent collaboration with plan sponsorsplan members treatment providers and internal partners (i.

e.disability specialists rehabilitation specialists and medicalconsultants) to drive cases to successful returntowork or jobreadyresolution.

Write letters tocommunicate pertinent benefitrelated information based onanalytical reasoning.

Demonstrateresiliency empathy and compassion when listening to andcommunicating with plan members which may involve deliveringdifficult claimsrelateddecisions.

Whatyou will need tosucceed :

Bachelor s degree in a healthcare program orequivalent.

Background in ahealthrelated field would be anasset.

Disability managementand / or Group Benefit knowledge is anasset.

Bilingual (oral andwritten) in French and English.

Ability to make difficult decisions within tight timeconstraints.

Comfortable withboth incoming and outgoing calls.

Strong organizational and prioritization skills required to managevarioustasks.
