What you will do

Are you looking to gain Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) knowledge and learn firsthand from industry-leading professionals Our team will give you this opportunity in addition we provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA). We will equip you with tools and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.

How you will do it

Apprentices will be trained and will perform HVAC equipment and controls maintenance and repairs at client sites.

Will participate in certified trainings through Service Technical Academy that will build skill sets to provide continued opportunities for advancement

Through coaching and mentorship apprentices will develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and meet customer needs

Keep JCI contractors and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed.

Meet attendance requirements for required training for first-year.

This may be part of the Bargaining Unit

What we look for (Required)

1st-Year HVAC Refrigeration Apprentice (313A) must already be a member of UA Local 787 .

Valid ODP / ODS Certification

Valid G.2 Certificate (Gas Technician 2)

Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency withhandheldcomputers (i.e. Smartphone iPad)

Adherence to the company safety program.

Familiarity with HVAC equipment commercial industrial or institutional.

Ability to perform general building maintenance.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

A valid Full G drivers license with a clean driving record is required.

Willingness to supplement on-the-job training with training provided through the UA Local 787 JTAC and OCOT apprenticeship program.

Ability to be on-call as required.

This position is open to union and non-union apprentices.

This is a bargaining union position.

Pay Range : 2475$ hourly rate determined by the CBA / rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
