About the Opportunity

Reporting & Visualization :

  • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports, covering FTE / Headcount, Corporate Sustainability (CSRD), Attrition Analysis, Employee Surveys, and Grant Reporting / Audits.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate key people metrics, facilitating rapid and effective decision-making.
  • Compile department measures and maintain the HR Balanced Scorecard / KPIs, working with HR teams to review / develop KPIs.
  • Use visualization tools to present data clearly, promoting a self-service framework for end users.
  • Execute time-sensitive ad-hoc reporting in accordance with business needs.

Data Analysis :

  • Analyze people analytics to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to performance, engagement, retention, attrition, etc.
  • Provide input to the annual HR Business Plan based on key people metrics, offering actionable recommendations for HR strategy improvements.
  • Utilize statistical methods for meaningful conclusions from large datasets.

Forecasting and Predictive Modeling :

  • Analyze and communicate workforce trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for workforce planning, anticipating future talent needs and skill gaps.
  • Create predictive models for talent acquisition, employee development, attrition, succession planning, etc.

Collaboration :

  • Technical Lead for annual FTE Budget Cycle, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to prepare and finalize numbers.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align analytics efforts with strategic objectives.
  • Develop close relationships with key contacts throughout ArcelorMittal to streamline communication of key people metrics.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause corrective action through monthly reporting; pinpoint and communicate data issues / processing errors and involve relevant stakeholders for resolution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in people analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to provide input and implement improvement initiatives to support organization goals and participate on special project teams.

About You

  • Post secondary Diploma or Degree in Commerce, HR Analytics, or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of HR reporting experience, or a similar role.
  • Experience with workforce planning is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with SAP HR reporting considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical capabilities for effective interpretation and analysis of HR data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex data findings.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in Power BI (or equivalent software) for creating insightful and interactive dashboards.
  • Strong time management skills and adaptability to manage evolving reporting requirements in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team collaboration skills for working with HR teams and other departments to gather and validate data.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on the latest trends and tools in HR analytics.

Salary Range

$75,000 - $90,000 / year
