Scotia Securities Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Investment Field Consultant to drive sales growth, strengthen product knowledge, and elevate the client experience across our virtual distribution channels. You will play a key role in supporting Mutual Fund Representatives (MFRs) across the Wealth Call Centre, Virtual Advice Team, and Tangerine channels by delivering expert guidance, strategic sales support, and client‑focused investment advice.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, excels in coaching and influencing, and is passionate about long‑term wealth solutions.
Key Accountabilities
Sales Growth & Business Planning
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan aligned with increased assets under administration (AUA), strong market share growth, enhanced product knowledge among MFRs, and achievement of sales growth targets.
Field Sales Support & Coaching
Act as the primary field resource for MFRs, providing product expertise on Scotiafunds and Tangerine Investment Solutions, sales strategies and product positioning guidance, coaching and ongoing development, and delivering presentations, workshops, and 1 : 1 consultations to build sales effectiveness and product mastery.Territory Strategy & Insights
Analyze data and sales trends to identify growth opportunities, segment territories, and support business planning.Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to shape product positioning and sales initiatives.Diagnose and assist in resolving barriers to business development.Professional Support & Conduct
Deliver timely, accurate support through daily seminars, training sessions, and consultations.Uphold Scotiabank values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles in all activities.Ensure adherence to operational, compliance, AML / ATF, and conduct risk standards.Demonstrate strong understanding of the Bank’s risk appetite and integrate it into daily decision‑making.Qualifications & Experience
3–5+ years of sales experience in financial services, with an emphasis on mutual funds.Strong knowledge of Canadian mutual fund industry, competitive landscape, and investment distribution.Proven success coaching and influencing MFRs and leadership.Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.Highly motivated self‑starter, capable of operating with minimal supervision.Education & Certifications (Assets)
