IT Advisory Consultant

Our client, who has been multiple times awarded as one of the best places in Canada to work, is looking for a IT Consultant to join the consulting team.

As an IT Advisory Consultant, you will have the opportunity to support various teams within our IT consulting firm working closely with the various practice leads and subject matter experts, providing strategic guidance and expertise across all areas of IT strategy, vendor selection, and optimization.

Your role will involve collaborating closely with clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into actionable IT initiatives that drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Lead client engagements focused on IT strategy, vendor selection, and optimization, delivering customized solutions to address their unique needs.
• Assess and oversee projects across multiple clients and teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful project outcomes.
• Conduct project reviews and evaluate performance, providing insights for continuous improvement and enhancement of service delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that encompass various IT domains, including enterprise architecture, applications, data analytics, security, and infrastructure.
• Develop reference architectures and best practices to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their IT investments and strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop compelling offers, and deliver client presentations to support the growth and expansion of our consulting services.
• Contribute to RFP responses, create Statements of Work, and develop project deliverables to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and drive innovation in IT consulting.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• years of experience in consulting delivery and / or technical sales capacity, with a focus on IT strategy, vendor selection, and optimization.
• Certification such as PMP or PROSCI would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in various IT domains, including enterprise architecture, vendor management, application optimization, data analytics, security, and infrastructure.
