Your opportunity

Dillon’s Land Development Business Unit is looking for a Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team of professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience. This position is based at our Calgary or Winnipeg offices. We offer flexible work hours and hybrid work arrangement options to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Project Manager Component

• Carry out lead project management for land development projects.
• Assist in the scheduling and coordination of various activities to be completed by supporting staff and provide quality assurance on those activities.
• Manage projects, correspond with approval agencies and deal directly with clients related to setting and managing budgets and invoicing as well as scheduling deliverables.
• Work with Contract Administration staff to ensure the best interests of the clients are achieved during the construction. implementation stage. Tasks will include (but are not limited to) coordination and attendance at the pre-construction meeting meetings and responding to questions from the field.
• Manage or support post construction activities as required for objectives such as letter of credit reductions, construction certifications, municipal assumption activities, registration clearances, etc. Complete various financial management activities, including invoicing, collections / AR, backlog analysis, etc.
