Company Safety Officer (CSO) - Field
Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication.
Camp / LOA with accommodations provided and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers flights, or travel by vehicle. We offer 14 / 7 shift.

What we’re looking for from you If this describes you, we’d love to meet!
- NCSO certification not a requirement.
- Open to learning the company safety culture
- Fresh out of HSA or Safety training
- CSTS-20, WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Class 5 driver's License
- Oil and gas experience an asset, not required
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time
- Good computer skills (Google)
Where our projects are located :
- Our projects happen in 4 major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Conklin AB, Grande Prairie AB, Whitecourt AB and Fort St. John BC.
- You will be required to travel sporadically to sites.
