The Opportunity

RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full-time (1.0 FTE) Learning Support teaching position starting approximately January 8, 2025 until June 27, 2025 at Heloise Lorimer School.

Heloise Lorimer School is located in the City of Airdrie, and is home to students from grades K-5. For more information regarding this school, please visit their website at https : / / lorimer.rockyview.ab.ca / .

This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.

The following qualifications are preferred for the Learning

Support Teacher : Minimum 5 years

Minimum 5 years

classroom teacher experience

1 year educational

background or experience in one of the following areas :

Learning Supports

Inclusive Education

Special Education

Disability Studies

The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.

alberta.ca / teacher-certification.

The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment
